Emergency First Aid at Work
Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work is the most common workplace first aid course within the UK. The course focuses on the most important skills that could be used to save a life during a real life emergency.
Learners can expect to understand how to deal with the most common medical emergencies within the workplace. By its conclusion learners walk away with a nationally recognised qualification, which is valid for a three year period.

About this course
The course is taught over one practical day of attendance (6 hours). During this time one of our team will teach learners how to deal with a sudden accident or illness within the workplace.
The course is assessed through ongoing practical observation and multiple choice questions at the end of the classroom day of training.

- Unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation of a non-breathing casualty (CPR)
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Choking
- Major bleeding
- Minor injuries & burns
- Seizures

Most importantly by completing emergency first aid at work the newly qualified first aider is equipped with the skills to deal with an unconscious, non-breathing, choking and bleeding casualty. As well as having knowledge of epilepsy, minor injuries and the full treatment protocol for burns.
