Level 3 Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour) is taught over one classroom day (6 hours), with the additional time completed through an e-learning module (6 hours). The course meets the requirements of Ofsted & the EYFS. It is suitable for childcare workers who may need to come to the assistance of a sick or injured child in both emergency and non-emergency situations.

About this course

This is the highest paediatric first aid qualification that can be taken within the workplace. On the classroom day learners can expect to be taught a core set of lifesaving skills that could be used to save the life of an infant / child in an emergency.

The classroom day is assessed through practical observation and multiple choice questions at the end of the day.

The e-learning module comprises seven interactive modules which can be completed on a smartphone, tablet or computer. The module is assessed through questions, puzzles and other interactive content.
